Governor Ducey has ordered that flags at all state buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Monday, November 7, in honor of Staff Sergeant Kevin J. McEnroe, of Tucson, Arizona, who died on November 4, 2016, in Jafr, Jordan, in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. According to initial reports, Staff Sergeant McEnroe died of injuries sustained from small arms fire.
The Governor will again order flags at all state buildings lowered to half-staff on the day of Staff Sergeant McEnroe's interment. Arrangements are still pending and will be communicated as soon as possible.
Individuals, businesses, and other organizations are encouraged to join in this tribute.
