Half-Staff Alert - December 16, 2019
For Wyoming Only

Governor Mark Gordon has ordered the Wyoming State Flag be flown at half staff at the Capitol in Cheyenne and in Converse County from sunrise to sunset on December 16, 2019 in honor of Richard Cannady. Mr. Cannady served in the Wyoming House of Representatives from 2009-2016 and passed away December 9, 2019.

Please note that this notice is only for the Wyoming State Flag and only at two locations in the state - at the Capitol Building and in Converse County. Other flags should remain at full-staff.

**When flown at half-staff or half-mast, the U.S. flag should be hoisted first to the peak for an instant and then lowered to the half-staff or half-mast position. The flag should again be raised to the peak before it is lowered for the day.
