Half-Staff Alert - May 17, 2019
For Wyoming Only

Governor Mark Gordon, pursuant to his authority, has ordered the Wyoming State flag be flown at half-staff in honor of former State Legislator Richard “Dick” Sadler from sunrise to sunset on Friday, May 17, 2019 at the State Capitol in Cheyenne and in Natrona County, which is the county Mr. Sadler represented. He served in the Wyoming Senate from 1975-1982 and the House of Representatives from 1971-1974, 1993-1994 and 2000-2002.

Please note that this notice is only for the Wyoming State Flag and only at two locations in the state - at the Capitol Building and in Natrona County. Other flags should remain at full-staff.

**When flown at half-staff or half-mast, the U.S. flag should be hoisted first to the peak for an instant and then lowered to the half-staff or half-mast position. The flag should again be raised to the peak before it is lowered for the day.
