From Governor Kay Ivey:
"I am directing all flags to be flown at Half-Staff as a mark of respect for Mobile Police Officer Sean Tuder, who was killed in the line of duty on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Officer Tuder gave his life doing what he loves, protecting the people of Mobile. This senseless tragedy has sadly taken the life of yet another Mobile police officer far too soon, and stands as a reminder of the sacrifices made by those who wear the badge.
Flags should be flown at Half-Staff until sunset, Sunday, January 27, 2019."
**When flown at half-staff or half-mast, the U.S. flag should be hoisted first to the peak for an instant and then lowered to the half-staff or half-mast position. The flag should again be raised to the peak before it is lowered for the day.
