Heavy Duty American Flags

Recognized as the most durable of all flag fabrics, our 2-Ply Polyester American flags are your best choice for extreme winds and intense sun. If you are not in a high wind area, we recommend our Endura Nylon American Flag, which is just as fade resistant as our 2-Ply Polyester, but made from 200 denier nylon which flies better in average to high wind conditions.

  • 100% Made in the USA
  • Commercial Quality for Extreme Winds
  • UV Resistant
  • 2-Ply Polyester
  • Reinforced for Wind Damage Resistance
  • Sewn stripes & embrodiered stars
  • Unidirectional Chain Stitch for all horizontal seams (which makes the flag much stronger)
  • Lock Stitch for all edge hems
  • 100% Made Tough in the USA

Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. More information can be found here on our American Flag Repair Services.

Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.

    Great Flag for High Winds!

Posted by Richard Gilbert on Mar 10, 2024

Flag lasted 4-5 times as long as the cheap ones available. Did not have any wind damage in over a year. Only issue is fading in the sun over the period of a year. Ordering a replacement.

    Quality

Absolutely the most durable, long lasting, highest quality at the best price. Our flag is under constant winds and after being up for 365 days a year, it was still flying strong with very minimal wear and fade.

    Best Flag yet

Posted by Tim Graff on Feb 17, 2024

I’ve gone through a few flags over the years and have been disappointed with the results until I tried this poly max (extreme wind) flag. It has held up better than any other flag I’ve purchased and looks great day in and day out. It tolerates the Florida sun everyday and with an average wind speed of 15-20 daily (I’m actually at a high elevation) this flag holds it own. Very pleased with the suggestion from the staff at Flags Express for recommending this one.

This is the second "Extreme winds" flag I bought. I thought it was time to replace the old one because it had been over a year since I put the last one up and previous flags did not last more than a year. To my surprise, although the flag is a bit fa

Quality flag. Should last even longer up here in Indiana than they do in the high winds and intense sun in FL!
