Blue Star Service Banners To honor those serving in the Armed Forces, hang one in your home or office window to let neighbors know you have a loved one on military duty. These banners are fully sewn, reading correct on one side, and come complete with gold fringed bottoms, wood dowel with spear ends and gold hanging cords. Also comes with clear plastic suction cup hanger for ease of hanging on any window. Stars are blue and borders are red. Please contact us for other sizes or color combinations.
Display of the Blue Star Banner first came about during World War I. During WWI and WWII most flags were hand made by mothers across the nation. One of the most famous flags was that of the five Sullivan brothers who all perished on the U.S.S. Juneau.
