For North Carolina Only
Governor Pat McCrory has ordered all North Carolina flags at State facilities in Forsyth County to be immediately lowered to half-staff through sunset of October 6, 2016. This order honors the life and service of Forsyth County Sheriff Deputy John Thomas Isenhour, age 38, who was killed in performance of his duty.
“Ann and I offer our prayers to the family of Deputy John Isenhour,” said Governor McCrory. “Deputy Isenhour was dedicated to making Forsyth County, our state and our nation safer through his service in law enforcement and the U.S. Marine Corps. His commitment to public safety was an inspiration to our state and reminds us of the need to support and protect those who protect us.”
