Governor Pat McCrory ordered all North Carolina flags to be immediately lowered to half-staff on all state facilities in honor of North Carolina Representative Ralph C. Johnson. Representative Johnson represented Guilford County in House District 58 and died on March 15. Flags should remain at half-staff until sunset on Friday, March 18.
"Representative Johnson was a true public servant who began his public service as a volunteer for various community groups," Governor McCrory said. "He was a leader who always put his constituents first. Ann and I will have his family and friends in our prayers."
